# Trading Pools

Trading Pools are the live game layer of PoolFans — transparent, on-chain competitions where players compete on ROI.

**1 key = 1 position.**

Open a position on any listed token and track your live performance.

When the pool timer ends, all positions close automatically and the top ROI positions share the prize pot.

Creators configure the pool parameters — duration, prize token, number of winners, and percentage splits.

Participants can earn keys through social coordination tasks (like, recast, follow), blending social engagement with real trading outcomes.

Everything — from entries to payouts — resolves trustlessly via smart contracts.

* Raise Engagement Pools – align rewards with social + performance metrics.
* Pre-Clank Pools (coming soon) – bootstrap token distribution and liquidity directly through competition.
